Iphone content onto flat panel

Hi folks,

What is the cheapest way of transmitting iphone content onto a non smart flat panel tv?

Would like to stream content such as facetime onto the flat panel along with films if possible?

Do you actually want to stream (ie do it wirelessly)?

If you do then something like AppleTV for £99 (less secondhand) or possibly Chromecast for around £35

If you are good with a wired connection then you can buy a iPod/Lightening to HDMI cable for around £10 or less

You can't stream FaceTime to an external device it won't let you. You could buy an Apple TV that will let you stream movies and pictures from your iPhone to your tv.
