I want to pay a £1000 debt off. Can I use a 0% credit card to pay this off ?:j

    What debt is it would help?

    If it's your mate you owe 1k then I doubt they'll take a card payment.

    Yes - if the CC offers Super transfers.

    Alternatively you can switch your normal spending to a CC offering 0% on purchases and use the 'saved' money for paying the debt off gradually.

    Some debts, e.g. some catalogues, can be paid off by a CC directly.

    No, you would still have a £1000 debt.

    The debt would probably be 3% or so higher after the transfer.
