How long do Paypal credit card refunds take?

Just received a refund via Paypal for a purchase that never arrived.
Paid by credit card and refund has gine back to credit card. I thought it may have gone immediately (or at least within a couple of hours as other payments do) but doesn't appear even in pending transactions.
Anyone have experience of how long it's likely to take?

I just checked one, which was from a few months ago…..tallying to my statement (Visa) it took 5 days.0
