Google pics being resized

Hi
I am trying to download some images from Google. I have searched for 'Large' images and they are coming in at the sizes I need.
However, when I save them they are resizing to approx. 250 x 250.
No idea how / why this is happening and would appreciated any advice.
I'm not very technically savvy, so sorry if this is a really stupid question.

Sounds like you are actually saving the "thumbnails" that are displayed on the Google Images page. Are right clicking on the image and selecting "Save picture as..."?
What you probably need to do is just left click on the picture and go to the actual large image and then do the save.0 -
It doesn't allow me to left click and open the photos.
It is saving them as thumbnails, but how can I stop it happening ?
Thanks in advanceYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever

You have to go to the actual full size photo, if I left click, the page spilts, shows me a bigger (but low res) image and has a button on the right named "view image". Clicking on that takes me to the original full size image.0

To download your pics look for the "tick in a circle" at the top left of the image when your mouse is over an image.
Click the tick, then select all the pics you want.
You should now see a blue Bar with thumbnails of your pics.
Along the Blue bar their is a "More" menu item
Select that then select "Download"
Google will go away for a second or 2 and Zip the pics and let you download the file.Laters

I don't get the tick in the circle. I have just managed to download one by CRtl left click at the same time. I assume my pc is blocking cookies and preventing it working. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Open the particular image that you would like to save. Then click on view image, the images will open and right click on it, then click on 'save image as' to save it.:money:0
