Ford Ka problems
I hope someone can help solve this mystery for me.
My `53 plate Ka heater isn`t working. It blows cold air when it should be hot. The thermostat, thermostat housing and matrix have all been replaced but the problem is still there.
It did start to warm up a little bit when I reached 50mph yesterday, but no matter how long the engine is running, at lower speeds it is freezing cold. Not good at this time of year.
Second problem. I have a lake in the back footwell behind driver`s seat. Car sits on a very slight incline on the driveway so might be running backwards from the front ?
Any ideas for remedies gratefully received.
Just before anyone suggests buying a new car as a `remedy`...

Is the engine reaching a working temperature?

It will be the heater valve, common problem on fiesta as well. Be sure to use a ford one as others don`t last very long.
The water is usually from the pollen filter housing, it will leak into the foot well .0
