  • Superdrug products are great and BUAV approved of course.

Lush is worth a try. They use a lot of natural ingredients too. I love their shampoo bars. They may seem a but pricey but last for ages so worth it I feel.

I like the Tara Smith range. It's sold in some larger Marks n Spencer's but is cheaper on EBay. Aveda is also good but quite expensive - a little of that does go quite a long way though.

Aveda- love their hair care range, its far from cheap but it does work very well.

Lush- really love the Rehab and Retread shampoo and masque/conditioner.

Weleda, Jaason Organics (may need to check if they still make them) I think are all animal-friendly.
  • I used to use a great range called MOP - modern organic products when I was pregnant and thought they were brilliant ,even preferred them to aveda used one called spring greens or something. Expensive but worth a try if you can afford it .

Apply coconut oil, leave for a bit, wash out. It's worth spending £5 on organic rather than £1 for normal, not only for the better quality but the wonderful smell.

Well I've bought some Naked shampoos from Boots on a 3 for the price of 2 deal.

My sortie with the version for long straight hair didn't look good on first wash. It seemed to get greasy at the roots very quickly. I normally wash alternate days but it was looking very lank at the end of day 2.

I also got the Timotei at the pound shop, I have the Normal to Greasy version there wasn't another choice. Actually not too bad.

I was using Daniel Galvin Organics, got in on a deal at Waitrose and was happy with that but it is pricey and not widely available.

Nice to see more SLS paraben free products but why do they use fragrance on some of them ?
Not always, but lots of people looking for additive free products include fragrance free in that as a choice.
  • I can only say based on my experience, I have undyed fine hair.

I found Faith in Nature pretty good. I didn't like Jason. I loved Aveda when I was younger but they ARE pricey. The only one which really suits my hair is Lavera rose milk, have no idea why this is, but my hair seems to lap it up. Think it might just be my hair type though so I can't recommend it unequivocally.

I didn't get on with Green People though I love the rest of their products, not sure I was using it correctly? They do say that you only need a smidgen to lather up, perhaps I used too much product.
