how to format vista premium (retail)

i've recently bought a vista premium dell E520
and am sick to the back bone of it-lol
i want to know if theresanyone here thats formatted their own Vista premium with the disks provided,
and if so does the media centre and the rest of the dell support stuff come back on......thanx peeps biddy:beer:

This is incorect in this situation, the OP indicates in the original post they have a "vista premium" I will assume you are refering to Home Premium.
Downgrade rights are only in Vista business and vista ultimate. Downgrade rights make it legal to downgrade from either vista ultimate or business to windows XP without having to buy another windows XP licence.0 -

A couple of weeks ago a Vista Home Basic Dell Dimension machine turned up at a school I support (the sec had bought it not realising it doesn't work in a school environment very well), so I phoned Dell up and they sent out a XP Pro CD with a COA.0
