No experience of them whatsoever, but the spiel on the page about servicing puts me off somewhat, by what sounds to me like scaremongering. I'd be interested in evidence of problems caused by 'spurious' filters causing expensive repair bills, and it is generous of them to only use oils that are recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, find me a garage that doesn't...
  • Brakes, suspension, steering, tyres etc. all excluded so all you are getting is an oil change not a service

They dont get their parts from greedy companies? Where do they get them from?

£70 for an oil change? They check the engine timing.. Err that could be a 4 hour job on some cars. Covers may need to be removed with engine mounts etc? They check that at every service? Doubtful.
Check electrical connections.. All of them?
Visual check.. Yep its got an engine?

Run diagnostics = plug a code reader in?

Sploding? Whats sploding? tipex everywhere is not good enough. Err its never given me any issues. Hopw do they time engines that dont have holes for timing pins and just a tiny little arrow on a pulley?

    They dont service brakes?

How can they say they can service the vehicle to manufacturers warranty standards when they dont touch most of the items that need to be serviced?

Not sure how up to date their website is. I was told they now only deal with the trade and they've gone back to what they originally started doing, injectors and fuel pumps. They have a decent reputation in regards to the latter
  • Is it Chrysler problems OP?
Depending where you are, I've bought spares from a VM specialist (think they're in Chesterfield) and a guy on the Chrysler forum had used them for work and was very happy with the service received.

Any RX8 specialist worth his salt will encourage owners to get shot of the rubbish Mazda recommend and replace it with decent oil :)

    Thread hijack over.
