in Credit cards
Dear All,
I paid a company £ 4000 via my mastercard credit card on 17/1/14 for a software. I now worry that the company might be a fraud company. I have blocked my credit card. I have tried to contact the company.
my Question-
1- what should be my next step. ....inform Police??
2- is there any way that i will get £4000 pound or part of it back
- can I force the company to pay ( once they return the call)
- I believe mastercard credit card shares responsibility but I had authorized the payment so I believe they won't help
Any help/ guidance will be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Blocking your card is too late if you have already paid.
Who are they and what are you getting for your £4000?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
1. No. They can't care less.
2. If the company fails to deliver what they have to in the agreed time, then you can resort to chargeback or s75 protection:
If you simply changed your mind, it was a UK company and it wasn't an in-store or business purchase, then it's worth remembering the DSR and the cooling off period. If the company refuses to refund the money, then you can use chargeback (or s75 as the last resort).0 -
Is this NSA software or a very expensive copy of Windows 95?"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

Is this a Business to Business transaction? I find it hard to believe that anyone would pay £4K for software for personal use, and if it is B2B then different rules apply.0
