Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and would appreciate some advice.
I'm self-employed and have been scraping by on a small income. After discovering MSE, I decided to transfer my small credit card debt from RBS to Lloyds (balance transfer) last November. I've also decided that I need to build and grow my business and am investing in it. As part of this, I have now added debt to my Lloyds credit card; it all adds up to nearly £900. However, the 0% on new purchases runs out mid-Feb. I have applied for a Tesco credit card for further purchases; this has a long 0% on new purchases but only a 3-month balance transfer deal. Would it be a good idea for me to apply for yet another credit card with MBNA for example and do a balance transfer from my Lloyds card onto the new one? I'm concerned about having 3 credit card applications within 6 months and what impact this will have on my credit rating? Would appreciate any advice. Many thanks.

Impact maybe if you need to apply for further credit within the next 12 months it may be a negative mark. Will you need to apply for more credit within the next 12 months?
