I have just had a cola float. Three bottles diet cola from Morrisons for a £1 and their value ice cream I think 45p. Obviously not the greates thing for your teeth, but as an occasional and cheap treat, should be ok. Forgot how nice they were!
Tall glass of cola topped off with a big spoon of ice cream - luvverly.

Coke float from Wimpy on a Saturday afternoon with my burger and chips eaten with a knife and fork at the shopping centre.
Nan and Grandad paid with Luncheon Vouchers.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Oh that brings back memories of weekends with my gran....she always gave us a flake to stir it with. A few years ago I made one for my kids, and they hated it!

In Scotland we mostly made ours with Irn Bru and called them ice drinks. I loved these when i was little and it felt like a huge treat. Had one in a cafe last year and it was still magic! :rotfl:0

Stop it! I'm melting here!!:DMortgage Free as of 03/07/2017 :beer:0 -
I think we must have been on the same wavelength yesterday. Was melting so I made myself a dandelion & burdock floater. Used to do them with coke and lemonade, and figured it was worth a try.
Message to those thinking of trying it - out the icecream in last. I put it in first and spent the next ten minutes scooping froth off so I could top up the fizz. (doh!)
Cream soda works well too.Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Always reminds me of the local Wimpey bar too!0

Where I come from in Scotland it was cream soda with vanilla ice cream (not that you could get any other variety when I was little!). It's still lovely.0
