I think we need a bit more info.
What exactly are you trying to do ? log on to the website, or verify a payment / transfer ?
Is the problem entering your pin into the card reader, or the generated security code into the website ?
What error message are you getting (or what exactly is happening) ?
Is the card reader and/or card new or have you successfully used the combination together before ?0 -
There is no a 'Space' key on the device.Desperate_Housewife wrote: »please help, the card reader wont accept my numbers...tried spaces and no space ...0 -
Is anything coming up on the display at all? If it's new, have you taken out the plastic tab on the back?0

You can log-on without it.
Click on the "Login using memorable data" button on the right-hand side of the passcode screen.0 -
Alternatively most of the banks' card-readers are interchangeable with it. (except HSBC)0

But I don't think any of them issue card-readers do they?0

you can order a new one from the online banking site, you can use anyone elses who has a NatWest, Barclays, or Nationwide device.0

Pop into a Nationwide branch and they might give you one of the spares they hold there.you can order a new one from the online banking site, you can use anyone elses who has a NatWest, Barclays, or Nationwide device.
But it doesn't sound as if the OP's card reader misfired. As and if the OP comes back, we might find out more about what exactly the problem was because their post appears to have been made in some haste this morning and didn't really tell us what the issue was.0
