Selling a pram

I'm trying to sell my pram and car seat, but not having much luck at the moment. I've got it listed on my local Gumtree and Netmums, but I don't want to put it on eBay or Facebook. Arethere any other 'face to face' type platforms that anyone can think of?

Thanks in advance.

I sold a silver cross pram on facebook £120 I was quite pleased. Is there a reason you don't fancy it? possibly people seeing you are selling it? start a selling page i have seen a few people who i assume want to be anonymous sell that way.

Does your local paper have a selling page? ours does for items under £100 its free.

    preloved

and thats me out of ideas.

A friend of mine sold her pram at a nct sale www.nct.org.uk

Her pram was around 5 years old but was in good condition and sold in the first sale she put it into.

Netmums in your area? Adverts are free - can list them for a month and then keep on renewing. Can put in one photo.
  • Would agree with F&L and suggest that you check out the local NCT.

Try the old-fashioned approach and put a card in a local shop window? One of my local supermarkets has a board for sale items, you can put a photo in there too.

I sold my dolls house by putting a card in the newsagents window, it was sold less than two hours after putting the card in!

I very much doubt you will be able to find anyone willing to buy a second hand car seat, list the pram on its own and see what happens.

Ha've a google at 'items for sale in xxxx ' lots of local selling sites are popping up all over the place.

If not, go onto fb and create your own selling group. Its easy. Down the left it says 'create group' and invite people on it to sell too.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
