Deleting photos from macbook

Hi can anyone advise me how to delete certain photos on my macbook please ?

If they're in a folder in your "Finder" window then highlight the ones you want to lose and go File>move to trash. Then "secure empty trash" when you're done and they'll be gone (to all intents and purposes except forensic

They aren t in a file when I click on finder, I see them on my email page on the left hand side when I click on photos they all show up
Can you take a screenshot and post it up?

Hi I think I ve managed another way lol. When I see the pic I want to delete I click it and a green tick shows then I go to the trash bin and it deletes the email which the photos came from or from who I sent to the pics to in the first place. Thanks:)0
