Hi need some advice please.
I was (stupidly) parked on double red lines today, when i came back to my car the traffic warden was taking a picture of my number plate...
There was no ticket stuck on my window as it appears he had just got there himself. I jumped in my car and drove away, he said "the ticket has been issued" as i drove off...
Will i still get a fine?

Thanks
But even if the fine is not stuck on the car?
How much will it be?0 -
I think you could be in for being ripped off for £100 for red lines in london :eek:PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

really?!
I'm from Birmingham, and this was not on a dual carriage way ot anything but the red lines went round the corner onto a residential street...0 -
If you get a ticket then post a picture of all pages, all small print on pepipoo forum:

Most people can appeal most Council PCNs successfully, with help from that forum. You don't just pay it, even the bribe 'discount'!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

But even if the fine is not stuck on the car?
Don't get taken-in by that rubbish - totally outdated advice.
Most (if not all by now) urban authorities in the UK have the appropriate legal permissions in place to issue tickets remotely - ie from CCTV, or from Patrollers notes/photos after a drive-off. So having a ticket stuck on your car means very little.
So if you get one, take it to Pepipoo to get a proper appeal together and you stand a very good chance.0 -
Red routes are there for a reason - to help keep the traffic flowing smoothly, and to prevent hold ups and delays on very busy roads.really?!

The reason why red lines usually go round corners and into side residential roads from the main roads, is to allow traffic to enter and exit these roads without impediment and with a clear, unobstructed view, enabling them to leave and enter the main road safely and quickly, with minimal disruption to the flow of traffic.0 -

Which the Highway Code already covers. But people are essentially selfish and so parking in contravention to the HC, hence why councils have started being more rigorous with such markings. (IMHO)0
