Vista and Zonealarm

I am currently running XP home with Zonealarm 6.5.737 I have not bothered updating the zonealarm to the latest version because i heard it is more sluggish with extra features etc.
I plan to buy a new laptop with vista operating system. I am aware that the latest version of zonealarm is compatible with vista. Prefer to use the old version of zonealarm. Is zonealarm 6.5.737 compatible with vista?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

Rather than listening to hearsay, why not try the latest version for yourself?
If you don't like it, you can rollback to the old version or try another program.
It's not as if you aren't going to buy the laptop because it's not compatible with Zone Alarm....is it?
