I've got to say I barely look at it! I get retweeted often by people and favourited etc. but I just carry on comping and am still winning about 1 a week on average on twitter
OMG one a WEEK!!! Nice one, I tweeted 1800 times before I had a win :rotfl: I'm up to 2443 now, so I'm expecting another win in about another 1200 tweets :T

It can't invalidate your entry or the comp wouldn't be fair, if it did then I could just go on a diff account and retweet everyone that enters except for me, thus leaving just 1 entry and 1 winner...

I got a tweet from someone a while back because I accidently retweeted their tweet for a comp.
The person told me that as I'd RT'd their tweet, I wouldn't get entered in the comp. But I have noticed others that have RT'd from mine, so I don't know how it all works.
I just click on the photo of the comp post and it lets me do a fresh RT. Someone can retweet your tweets as long as you have retweeted the actual tweet and not just quoted it with "RT". I don't think you can get disqualified either way though0
