All three, allegedly.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. So does that mean that when I apply for a mortgage they will use all three to credit check me and my OH? Or just pick to use one of them?0

What are you worried about? Is there something you are trying to avoid them picking up on a particular search?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. There is nothing on any of my files that I am worried about.
I just know my equifax report is higher scored than my experience report as no one has ran a credit search on my equifax report.
I have one credit card that I have only had since November but I pay of the full balance every month.
I have an overdraft facility that I haven't been in for over three years (I used it during my student days)
Never had a missed payment for any of my direct debits.
No CCJ's or anything worse. I'm on the electoral role and have been at my current property since I moved in over four years ago.
My OH credit reports are even better than mine.
My only concern is that last week we applied for a mortgage from nationwide for 90% LTV on a £163k property we are FTB and we were rejected because during the decision in principle they failed to include my second name and then when they did the full application included it which apparently through it out at the underwriting stage. This has resulted in two credit searches being out on our experian credit reports (we are currently waiting for one to be removed as this is a mistake on nationwide side - however this will obviously take a while to change and we are not wanting to lose the house we have found).
We have now contacted a broker at London and country who has suggested coventry building society to us. Just wondering how much of a chance we have of securing a mortgage with them.
I earn £16.5k a year (been employed for over 3 years) and my other half earns £43k a year (been employed at current job for nearly 18 months). No dependent and as already mentioned we have a 10% deposit.0 -
The scores mean nothing, its the information within the credit reports that is important.
If something popped up and you failed a credit check at full application stage using your correct full name then you need to obtain copy's of all your credit reports and see if there is something on any of them to cause this.0 -
As I said we checked all of them and there are no errors.0

Have you been saving via Nationwides Save to Buy scheme?0 -
No we have been doing our own savings using our own ISA's
I know everyone has their own lending criteria. It just baffles me how two people who together have a good income and zero blemishes in our credit records can be refused credit. We again did affordability calculations and were left with £1900 at the end of a month to cover the cost of a mortgage. The mortgage product we were looking at works out at £820 a month so we have over twice that in disposable income. As I said I am baffled. Just hoping we will have more luck apply to coventry.0 -
Do you have any credit at all?
Are you on the voters roll?0
