hi, i wonder if you can help me. it was working fine then just switched itself off and had a slight burning smell coming from where the power cable plugs into the pc. got a new motherboard yesterday but pc still not working, just won't power up. we've tried different power cables. changed the power supply, tested the old power supply in another pc and it's working fine, changed the motherboard and swapped the processor with one from another pc. is there anything else we can try? medion akoya p7360 d (MD 8855) thanks

Unplug all components, then reconnect one by one. Something is causing it to fail POST. Tried the RAM?
However if it doesn't even begin to boot. then the PSU must still be the main suspect: it could be outputting at a voltage variance that the other PC will accept, but yours won't.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
