Anyone else noticed how dreary the NI section has become?
Looks like it has joined the other local sites and moved into decline.
I now look in about once a week rather than daily as I used to.

are you missing an update on Moira butchers"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

among other things - but yet again, good old NI censorship/bullying prevails because we are not deemed to have the ability to take a mature look at a posting and decide if we wish to take part or ignore.John0

You could argue that bullying prevailed and has now stopped....everyone will have their own take on it.0

Bullying prevails? Surely it was the bully who was going to post threads on 'what he wanted when he wanted' regardless of what other thought who was pulled by the independent moderator?Val0

I prefer to think of it as "Quality" over "Quantity" it was annoying popping in everyday and having to wade through drivel to get to proper helpful MSE threads.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for anything Norn Iron being discussed here, but certain users where going too far too often and as others have said where rightfully moderated off
The NI section has always been the most used of the local areas section here and has always had a good blend of pleasant, helpful and down right funny folk who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves and are willing to share experiences of their MSE world. Long may it continue.
If people think the section has become quite then maybe they should air a few opinions or ask a few questions, no one one here bitesI am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
Whats been keeping me out of here recently is that I've no time these days. But its still nice to pop in and see what's going on0

I think the NI board has became a little irrelevant as of late, I liked it the way it was with a more vibrant online community.0

Having been on here a looong time and done all of the 'big' things (multiple times) I find the NI board more useful than the weekly tips email.0

I agree that there are less postings and some of the topical debates are missing but I'll happily trade that for a Forum that does not contain sectarian/political/deliberately provokative threads.Val0
