I recently had to cut through my kitchen worktop to get to some pipes!! So now I'm in desperate need of a cheap new one. It will be replaced in around 12 months when I can (hopefully) afford to re-do the whole kitchen, so it doesnt need to be a very good one. Can anyone help please?
Many Thanks

Try your local markets - we got a worktop from ours for about a tenner, cut to size too."It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

not extremely cheap but certainly at the lower price end of the market is recycled plastic sheeting. It is made of plastic bottles, wellies, mobile phones and the like. It looks super cool and avary piece is different. I am planning to get a sheet to use as a shower enclosure:)

If you're near an Ikea, they always seem to have various lengths of these in the Bargain Basement. The Leeds one had loads a fortnight ago.
