0% credit card for insurances

So in march my car insurance is due to renewal, mot/ service/ tax all due, I am going on holiday and buying a house.

I would like a credit card what I can buy my car insurance and home insurance on. A 0% intrest one, what sort of 0% one will it be classed as would it be purchases? I will be doing it all online...

0% on purchases is what you want.


A word of warning though...many insurance policies 'auto renew', so be sure to read the T&Cs now and/or renewal notice next year. Don't just ignore the renewal notice because it's too dear! Better still, tell them at the outset that they're not to retain your card details for next year's renewal.

Great thank you, seen a tesco one which looks alright as can get club card points too!! Yep I make sure I tell insurances as then see if they can get me a better deal while I am at it...

This is mainly what I use my credit card for... you need a 0% purchases one. there are quite a few on the market at the moment that give extra is you spend a certain amount within eg the first 3 months.
