insert text and pics to scanned document

Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows of any way that I can do the following -


Scan in hand drawn document then add text and pictures to it before printing out.


(I have libreoffice)

  • Scan the hand drawn document and save as an image

    Open a new document in LibreOffice Writer

    Insert the scanned image (Insert - Picture - From File)

    Right-click on image and select Anchor - To Page and Wrap - In Background

    Click away from the picture and you can then type over it, add other pictures over it.

    (instructions checked on OpenOffice 3, Libreoffice should be similar)
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
