Replacing Shower Screen Fitting

I am hoping this is straightforward.

We have a shower screen that pivots around a fixed pole. At the top it has a fitting (think of a cap in the form of a figure of 8 with depressions for poles) and something similar (though not identical) on the bottom.

Does anyone know what this fitting is called and where I can obtain it?

I would take a photo, but its been completely worn away so much so that the shower screen can be dangerously dislodged.

Thank you for reading.

There isn't an industry standard in most shower screen fittings.

You need to find out the manufacturer and approach them, but normally parts aren't available. Sadly, it's normally a replacement shower screen.
