Also see thread I posted on earlier, and a few others DD has helped with.

Yes it was quite a battle wasn't it!
What I particularly liked about this one was that in our last point the IS accepted that a bankrupt could have some spare cash with no allocation - £85pm loose change if you like.
Such allowances support the definition in law of 'reasonable domestic needs' to become satisfied as opposed to basic needs, which in isolation, is what the family expenditure survey is.
Good luck Nav 1- I was very glad to assist.

Hi,
Never accept their 100% 'rule' - it's unlawful.
I have a feeling that the IS may try something else other than starting the IPO process - won't say for now.
I'm going to send you a PM and I will need an email address from you If you want my help.
I will up date the board as soon as it is safe for you.

I've resent the message anyway.

Really? I didn't know that, but then IT was never my strong point.Muckers_Mate wrote: »DD - email addresses are not case sensitive.

I have found both of your emails - they went in to my 'junk' folder - how very dare they!
I believe that a fair few examiners (re your email) do actually believe that taking 100% is the law! - anyway, she will know different shortly.

Not as much as ME!0

The IPA letter I received stated that I had "14 days to discuss any variations in the terms of the payment"
So, on Monday, 4 days before the deadline I replied asking them to consider delaying or reducing payments for an agreed period allowing me time to fund my own transport, after which my financial position could be reassessed - I may even have been able to afford increased payments. I also asked if the payment date could be made on/after the day that I'm usually paid rather than before it.
Today I checked my bankruptcy status on the insolvency website and it is reported as "discharged on the 14th February" However, today I received two identical letters dated the 12th stating that the OR has filed for an IPO and that I should expect to receive a court date.
Where do I stand? Am I discharged or not? What does this IPO mean - it was received on the date of my discharge, but dated two days before? The IPA letter suggested that negotiation was possible and that my acceptance of the IPA wasn't necessarily the only accepted response.
Thanks for any advice.0
