I think you should make sure that you tag the winner or message them as a lot of comps just write the winners name on their wall and unless you go back to the page to check you may never know that you have won.0

I am not sure "tagging" winners actually works. I was tagged a couple of weeks ago in a post by a Company. I never got any emails nor did it appear in my notifications. I only found out by going back to the post myself.
