I don't have a lot of detail on this one, which was heard by DDJ Buckley who gave that comprehensive demolition of the whole PPC business model in the PE v Clarke case.
On this occasion, he simply decided that PE's signage did not create any form of contractual relationship with the driver, and therefore dismissed the claim.
If they can't win on their home turf in Preston, things must be looking pretty bleak in Chorley Towers.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Things aren't looking so good for Parking Eye at the moment.
Black eyes almost for each employee now - though my vote goes to Jonathan Langham for his witness statements - you shouldn't really hit a lady so Rachel is excused.
