£100 for a cup of coffee sounds like a good deal to me0

My Wow was referring to the fact that you apparently had a loan of a size sufficient to attract that amount of PPI. Not the fact that you got it all back.
What has that got to do with it? Everyone has their own personal circumstance as to why they have/had a large loan.
My hubby got £14,000 PPI back, so not all that unusual really. The loan was just the one topped up over the years, it does happen.
Thankfully we got out of debt about 4 years ago.0 -

Maybe she's after more than a coffee, could be negotiated on a payment by results basis?0 -
She's offered you £100 a month. You can accept that but on her salary she should be able to pay more.
Put your personal feelings aside and have her round for coffee. I'm sure if you want to be paid back faster texting is not the right way to go about it.0 -
To be honest I don't want to meet her or have coffee as she is very good in getting what she want's and she wants me back.Ok I admit it I am weak and I might give in !!!! I really don't want to get back with her. It's just best if we don't see each other.
I was hoping for more than £100 per mth on the salary she is on but £100 is better than nothing I suppose. Have to wait and see if she starts paying up.0 -
This has got to be a wind up LOL0

Give her a receipt and you keep a copy of all transactions. Get her to sign each one.
It will be better that way, because as soon as she starts making the payments, she is acknowledging the debt.
Then if it does go T**ts up, you have something solid to work with.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks McKneff that's good advice0
