Debt consolidation loans?

hello all i'm writing for some advice. myself and my partner both have bad credit ratings. we currently have a credit card each and i also have a pwrsonal loan I tpok out back in september to help pay for my car and lessons aand a test. We also have 2 catalogue accounts where we've purchased furniture for our mew rented house.

all together we have a round £3500 of debt and are loos9ng track of paymenta due and its costing us easily £500 month for payments, money qe stupidly now cannot afford as I have found out I am pregnant!!

I'm so stressed right now. Weve been looking at applying for a debt consoldation loan to put all payments into one, and have been applyong for £3000-£4000. We've applied for 2 both have saod they can only offer £2000 butbwoth a extremely high apr rate. I honestly don't know what to do anymore!!
I don't want to apply to high street banks as I kmow theyvwill decline and its a score against my name - I'm stuck as to what tondo!!

Sounds as if you have too much debt already, along with your poor credit histories, hence no one is willing to lend you more.

TIme to cut your costs and pay as much as you can to the most expensive debt. And start a spreadsheet of something so you don't 'lose track of your payments' or things will get worse.

If you can no longer keep up with your minimum repayments on the debts then I would suggest you post on the debt free wannabe section of the forum for some advice or talk to one of the debt advice charities for advice on agreeing reduced repayments with your creditors.
