Advantage Gold - 50% refund?

At a meeting with the local NatWest branch manager about 10 years ago he convinced me to take out a NatWest Mastercard on the understanding that if I spent more than £500/month on the card I would get 50% of my Advantage Gold fee refunded. The refund was annual and I know that I did get it for at least a couple of years.
For some years I haven't thought to check that I was still getting the discount so I phoned NatWest this morning to check. The woman I spoke to said she'd never heard of such an arrangement - does anyone know if this refund deal is still current or if it's been discontinued?

If the current bank employee knows nothing of this offer, it has probably been discontinued.0 -

One would suggest that the best course of action would be to find documented evidence of the discount or even just a mere statement proving that you have obtained the aforementioned discount and that it has existed.0 -
Natwest's Advantage Gold credit card went the way of the dodo a few years ago - As far as I know all existing cards were transferred to Yourpoints World mastercards which give you points instead, is your physical card still a gold card or a purple one with "Yourpoints" in the top left corner?
If the latter then you were presumably switched when you were sent this card instead of your previous gold coloured one, and were undoubtedly told about the change at or prior to that time.0 -
Thanks for your help everyone.
You're right nidO I now have a "Your Points" credit card. I obviously missed the fact that it replaced rather than enhanced the benefits of the Advantage Gold related card.
Only use AG for travel insurance for self and wife so now need to consider if worth the monthly fee.0
