In Maui I've used Pacific Whale Foundation (if you're planning a few trips then consider memberships, you get some good discounts) for whale watching and snorkeling trips, Hawaii Ocean Rafting, Ultimate Whale watch and Maui Kayaks. All very good. PacificWhale Foundation do a variety of boats, and do a nice BBQ lunch on baord on longer trips.

If you're staying in Kona I'd highly reccommend going to see some Manta Rays. You can snorkel or dive with them, or just go to the Sheraton hotel and watch from there. We did the night snorkel trip with Hula Kai, and it was amazing.

    Have an amazing trip!

Yup my Dad is a diver & he did the night dive with manta rays, pretty cool.

Me & my mum and sister went round the shopping mall nearby whilst we waited/before we picked him up :)

Just to say I really recommend watching the sun rise come up at Haleakala. You need to leave around 3am but if you do it one of the first nights you'll be waking up with jet lag at that time anyway. Its pretty amazing to watch the sun rise above the clouds over the crater. Just bring a hat/blanket/trousers it's cold!!
