Motorists blast car park sign after fines (Sic)

http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/news/inadequate-new-parking-signs-frodsham-6645562

Manager of UKCPS – which is an approved operator of the British Parking Association – Peter Haswell said: “The signs are there to be read and if people stay longer than two hours or go off site, they are going to get a ticket.
“There are more than adequate signs at the entrance and throughout the car park. They met all the British Parking Association standards.

One thing strikes me is that there does not appear to be any warning signs at the entrance to the car park.

he forgot to mention that following a laborious process and an eventual guaranteed rejection of an appeal a motorist would be issued with a unique 9 digit and one letter (p) verification code that would fail to enable them to appeal to POPLA

Hiya Petey Boy, look a thread all about you and your scamming company! Bet you're proud of that!

We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I wonder what the planning states for this site and if they have planning permission for the ANPR.

“Two hours gives people adequate time to do their shopping there.

Yep it is easy to become member of the BPA all you have to do is pay your membership fee and declare you will abide by their Code of Practice - which UKCPS can't do at the best of times - delaying issuing POPLA codes and then fake codes which then UKCPS were forced by the BPA to cancel a shedload of their unenforceable parking charges in any case.

The locals don't agree with the signage and no doubt the two hours was your suggestion to entrap more motorists into receiving a parking charge.

Paul Rogers, another Frodsham recipient of a parking charge notice, said: “The signs are there if you look for them, but they are high up, with small writing, and angled so that they are impossible to see from the entrance.
“There are no obvious signs to greet you at the entrance to let you know that new restrictions are being enforced, and unless you read the very small writing on the signs, there’s nothing to warn that number plate recognition technology is in use.”

Mr Haswell added that drivers can appeal the charges.
“We have an appeals department which looks at them and takes everything into consideration.
    - Sure you do.......... just take one look and reject the appeal - very considerate!
