Barclays Bank account claims?

Hi All,

I had something about charges from Barclays Bank accounts being able to be claimed due to miss selling pop up on my Facebook feed a couple of days ago. I didn't read the link at the time and now can't find it.

I'm wondering if it was legit and if charges can be claimed from them? My husband and I have both had current accounts with them for 20+ years and have had all manner of charges applied in this time.

Does anyone have any info on this please?

Bank charges are never "mis-sold" and the Banks won their case about unfairness a few years ago. If you are in significant financial hardship then it's possible that your Bank MAY consider a refund of some recent charges, but they are not obliged to refund anything. You certainly can't have a refund of any historic charges.

It sounds like you've just had a Claims Management Company advert on your Facebook. Ignore such ads.
