I currently have my nettop pc screwed / attached to the back of my monitor which keeps it out of the way and my desk nice and tidy.
I would like to replace the monitor and want to attach the pc to the new monitor but don't know the name for the above attachment ! Having looked at loads online, it doesn't seem to be all that common OR is it standard on every monitor.
What is the attachment called please ??!!

Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

I presume you mean the screw holes designed to make it wall mountable.
As far as I am aware most monitors have these as standard.
If you go onto the PC World site many of the monitors have multiple photos including views of the backs. In a number of cases they are also described as wall mountable.
Hope this helps.0 -

If all else fails, Velcro does a decent job. You can also get a more hardcore version from some hardware places, but try Velcro first, it's strong enough to hold people to walls!0

It's called VESA, and if your new monitor isn't compatible, you've been ripped off.
