Hello,
I have a silly gut feeling this person is trying to pull the wool over my eyes.
A buyer won an item last Tuesday. After bidding ended and paying for 2nd class delivery the buyer asked if it could be sent first class so they could wear it on Friday night. I paid the extra and posted it first class on the Wednesday obtaining proof of postage. I messaged them saying I had posted it first class. I haven't heard a thing until today when I got a message asking if I posted as it hadn't arrived. I find it a strange amount of time to have waited to message me if it hadn't arrived by the day they needed it. I have replied back saying I am very sorry and I will refund tomorrow if it has still not arrived. Am I best to get them to open a case through eBay? I know things do go missing and I am properly over thinking this one.
Thanks

Even Ebay now advise that people who pay and then email asking for an item ASAP - are usually scammers.0

Really? eBay admittting that some buyers are scammers?
That does not sound like the typical eBay mission statementI am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -

Thank you! They still haven't replied to my message yesterday despite listing items and leaving feedback today and yesterday. I will just wait until they reply.0

This was part of the message after a payment was reversed:-
Beware of unusual requests that could indicate suspicious activity, such as:
- Buyers who want you to send an item to them ASAP0
