Help please!

Recieved a letter from parkingeye today about parking in brewers wharf pub, merry hill, car park on 11/01/14. Says it will rise to £100 if not paid by 01/02/14! 2 days from now! The issue i have is that on the night in question, the ticket machine was out of order and i couldn't see another one. Also i've been reading on here about how people are being advised to ignore these letters as they're not enforcable. Also states this is a reminder letter, this is the first i've heard from them. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave

its quite obvious that you should be reading the NEWBIES - READ THIS FIRST sticky thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822 at the top of this forum

its also obvious that its not a fine as it doesnt say fine on it, nor was it issued by a court or a judge

its a parking charge notice - a PCN
  • I missed out the bit about the ticket machine being out of order.........Just spoken to the land owner directly, assured me that she will get the ticket cancelled :-) Thankyou

Why two new threads, covering the same PCN, and within minutes of each other?

My 'Walk Through', contained within Coupon-mad's NEWBIES sticky, will give you a step-by-step overview of how this will pan out. Once you've got an initial 'feel' from this, it's time to study the NEWBIES thread in a bit more detail.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
