Wifi printets

My home printer has packed up, so now I am looking at wifi printers, with 4 laptops in the home, but a search on Amazon yielded a massive return, with Epsom, HP & Canon printers.
I need reliability, low start up and running costs, and above all ease of use.
Does anyone have any first hand experience or advice?

The latest Which? report recommends Canon Pixma MG5450 or HP 3055a, epson xp710, brother dcp-j552dw, brother mfc-j870dw.
To be honest your best bet is to look on a reliable compatible ink company like Choicestationery for the price of compatible ink before you buy your printer. Most printers these days are pretty good, but Canon are the overall highest rated on Which?
For reference I have an ancient HP Laserjet 4p, and a Canon Pixma MX850 for a long time with no issues but have had problems with Lexmark and Epson. As for Wifi as long as the printer has an ethernet port you can run a cable to one of the cheap wifi range extenders and do it that way.

I have a Canon MP495 and out of all the wireless printers i've had ( Epson, Kodak, Lexmark, Brother) this has been the best.0
