I want to replace my TV and desktop with something that will do everything, such as TV, play games, go on the internet, etc. all without me having to get out of bed. (No jokes about getting off my backside please!)
I bought one from Dell but after weeks of problems with it, I'm sending it back for a refund. Can anyone recommend another supplier other than Dell please? I'm not a techie expert so it's all a bit confusing what to buy.
What sort of screen is best for everything?
Any help gladly received. Thanks.

Well if you really want to look at the internet and be able to read docs etc you're going to have to get a computer monitor or the resoloution will be too low and a strain on your eyes. Large computer monitors (either dell or apple) range from £450 ish for a 24" to over £1k for a 30". If however you are just casually flicking on the internet to see the weather or sports results then an lcd/plasma display will be ok.
Personally I don't really like MCE (windows with media features), if you want a true media machine I prefer something like MythTV although you will have issues with modern games but it can play old arcade classics with ease.0
