Registering with Companies House???

Hi all,

I've decided to register a 'group' company with Companies House ('CH') (i.e. I already own ABC1 and ABC2; I now intend to register ABC Group).

On CH info, it advises, in respect of the word "group", "To use this word the company should be part of a group that includes two or more existing companies. You should normally meet this condition on first registration or upon change of name. Your application should include the names of two existing companies that will form part of the group".

My question is - Where on the form (online IN01) do I advise CH of the other 2 companies that will form part of the 'group'?

Thanks in advance! :)

It's often much easier (and often no more expensive) to form a new company via a formation agent.

Either way, they are very useful anyway

And yet another reason to get an accountant, who would advise you on all such questions: is it worth is, how do I do it, why would I do it ...

I wouldn't normally recommend the use of an accountant to form a new company because of the typical charge they will make for something you can easily do yourself via a formations agent, but in the light of this other thread by the OP made only 2 days earlier, on this specific occasion I do wholeheartedly agree with your advice
