Hello
Having only been abroad a couple of times in the last 20 year we are thinking of having a week abroad in the summer.
Been looking online but not sure where to start.
What would we be looking at paying for a week abroad all-inclusive? dont mind where as long as we can go for walks and have a walk round the town etc. 2 adults and 2 kids 14 and 10.
Any advice would be great.
Thank You

totally depends on where you are going and what sort of place you want to stay at - prices vary a lot.0

And also depends on when you are going.
During school holidays you will pay much more than in early June.
I'd start by deciding on your budget.
Beware - some 'cheap' AI hotels may not turn out to be value for money if you don't like the food.
Also, check out the location of any hotel you are considering.
Some are in the middle of nowhere and you'd need a taxi just to get out.0 -
I would recommend the Phaethon beach hotel in Paphos cyprus .Great family friendly hotel and fantastic food ,not a quiet getaway type place tho'. Check it out on tripadvisor0

Phaethon beach hotel in Paphos cyprus is good for families, I have stayed here a few times, hated it when I went with my then girlfriend about 10 years ago because of the children everywhere but once we were married and had kids it was one of our first choices as a family holiday hotel. I've not been for 3 years to this hotel but the "Beach" in the title is misleading there was no beach as such behind the hotel, they havn't spent the money developing it like all the other hotels on the strip.
Its the last hotel on the strip and about 40 mins walk to the main town from what I remember.
If you do visit this hotel there is a lovely walk along the coastal path starting behind the next hotel on the strip and leading all the way to Paphos Town, which is a nice town with nice restaurants and bars around a harbour area.
I think we payed about £2700 for a family of 4 all inclusive that was in the Easter holidays.
Just to add I normally avoid all inclusive now though i prefur to eat in different restaurants etc. I find all inclusive ties you to the hotel to much.
We also had a very nice family holiday in Protur Aparthotel Bonaire in Cala Bona, Majorca and the flight was 2 hours shorter than Paphos aswell. The rooms were better suited to a family and will probably go back there 1 day.0 -
Hi Mark
can i ask who you booked with for protur bonaire? I am currently trying to book for 2015 but can only find thomson and wanted to shop around a little for a good deal?
Many Thanks Rebecca0 -

Thanks
I have tried but when i search online with the hotel direct it says no availability ... (possible its too early as booking for April next year) ??0 -
I would ring them, although it is possible they are exclusively contracted to tour operators.0
