Vent T M Lewin

My OH buys his shirts from T M Lewin in store so when they had an online sale I thought I would be smart and buy 4 shirts. I checked the sizes and measured very carefully but Oh dear - none of the 4 shirts fitted - so had to be returned. When I phoned them a week after posting them back ( with proof of posting) I discovered that they hadn't logged them in as returned yet. They said when they get them logged as returned my £103.50 will then take 17 days to be returned.

If everyone who returned something had to wait for a month for a refund think of how much the company makes from the interest or the use of our money. Hope they don't go into liquidation while I wait for my refund.

Any reason why your OH buys !!!!!! from TM Lewin?
Has he had a look at Charles Tyrwhitt? http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/

You can also get cashback on Charles Tyrwhitt and the quality is said to be better than TM Lewin.

Legally they have to refund you within 30 days. The few pence they will have earned on your money will be more than outweighed by the delivery costs they have incurred without resulting in a sale.

I hope that was a typo, and not a reflection on the quality of their shirts ... :rotfl:

Thank you for that advice. Was about to buy some work shirts from Lewins but might give Charles Tyrwhitt's a try.:T

I prefer CT, but again you need to work out the best fit for yourself. I only buy slim fit shirts from them as their normal ones are a bit big for me.
