I guess its one of those things that isnt guaranteed but if something turns up then its a bonus...and if you are able to send something in the post to them with a return stamped addresswed envelope then theres a better chance of getting a positive response.

Instead of saying my dad is celebrating his birthday in August perhaps you could word it that he's celebrating a milestone birthday shortly and it would be fantasic if....that way you may get something back before the day its actually needed.

Thanks for that - I will send it off sometime in the spring then as hopefully they should still have most of the squad around.

thanks everyone sent off to liverpool today hopefully il get something back for OH wasnt sure who to address it to so sent it to brendan rodgers lol might aswell go to the top.

Liverpool sent me something in 2011 when I wrote to them, it was personalised with our names and wedding date but the players signatures were obviously just a copy. Still my husband was well chuffed with it!

if i get anything back il be over the moon. i think OH will just be chuffed that iv made the effort like they say its the thought that counts lol.

Arsenal have said they will send out a letter nearer to the time of the wedding and same response as previous post re: Manchester United

I got a signed "generic" print for my husband on our wedding day, i sent a stamped addressed envelope and all the details of our wedding. We got a signed a4 paper with "congratulations bride name and groom name" on your wedding.

This has reminded me that I must go to the Post Office later and get the envelopes for my dad's card if I'm going to have a go...
