Replacing sofa seat cushions

Options
My sofa seat cushions have gotten really soft and rather than going out buying a new sofa I'd rather just buy new seat cushions. As I don't work I'd most likely have to go to Buy as You View type places to buy a new sofa anyway.

Can anyone recommend somewhere I can buy replacement cushions?

I have MS and back problems so I would need something that doesn't sink too much when sitting on it for long periods. I know sinking is natural with sofa cushions, however, I would like something that doesn't feel like I might well be sitting on the sofa frame after 30 minutes.

Do you have a local reupholstery firm who would sell you some ready cut foam ? Theirs would be of fire safety standard, which may not be the case if buying from a cheapy outlet.

My feather cushions have gone sloppy and we find ourselves slipping to the floor. I'm going to give some of these foam jobs a try, perhaps they might suit your needs too?

I'll try that. It still presents much of the same problem with buying direct from a foam supplier in that I've no idea of the quality of what I'm buying. I don't trust reviews on websites of companies.

They're a good idea but a little small for what I need. I'd need something more substantial and custom made to fit my sofa, my seat cushions are slightly larger than average.

I bought some last year from the company below and I was very happy with them. Just ensure you measure correctly - I measured the covers rather than the squashed old cushions.
