    Thanks everyone for your replies.
I have not heard anything regarding the writ.
The whole thing is a shame as this has split the family up.

have you seen the Will ? Is there a will?
Wishes died with who ever died and the estate must be distributed according to either the will or relevant Scottish law.
Anyone carrying out "wishes" can end up in prison for theft.
    Be happy...;)

I have now received a letter from the Legal Aid Board because the sister is applying for legal aid and as she has stated the case is against me.
I contacted the new executors and they made an appointment for me to see their solicitor as I was really worried about all this.
Confirmation was granted a few weeks ago and I was not aware of this.
The solicitor has said that I have not to worry about any of this as I am not involved any more and said that they are dealing with the writ and will contact the Legal Aid Board.
So thanks to everyone who replied to me.

Then you are not executor and have nothing to do with it at all.

Can you get a copy of the grant to send to the sister's solicitor? Any more after that, I'd be going to the police with a harassment complaint.
