Poxy PPI

Options
Morning,

Any advice welcome... I'm at the end of my tether with PPi.
We were definitely mis-sold ppi insurance however because everthing has signatures of agreement (which we were basically told we wouldn't get the loan if we didn't take it out) they haved refused to repay and it's quite a bit of money ;(
I have gone to the ombudsman and they to have said no, however the letter they sent me wasn't really relevant to my case and when I queried this on the phone they just said " oh sorry the wrong letter must have gone out" not very impressive at all ;(

So my question is, is that it then? or is there anything further i can do??

Many thanks:(

Based on what you have said, you had a weak complaint. It was just an unprovable allegation. So, rejection on that point is normal. The FOS will still look at suitability after that but if you were eligible and it was suitable then you would not win your complaint.

Obviously your PPI covered the self employed, otherwise the Bank and then FOS would not have rejected your complaint.

Most PPI covers self employed. it is just a significant minority that doesnt.

You are not required to be given options. Or rather your option is yes or no to having it.
