I have an international driver's permit which I plan to use to drive my sister's car in the UK. Is it possible for me to get insurance that would allow me to drive any car I want? Does anyone know any good companies that provide such policies?
Thanks,
Mukesh
P.S. I have a provisional license, as well but I'm not sure if that'd be any help with getting a policy. ANy thoughts appreciated.

As you have an IDP, I assume you have a non-UK licence. You have now got a provisional UK licence so are currently classed as a learner. Taking this into consideration, you are unlikely to find a cost effective policy to cover driving all vehicles. Even for Full UK licence holders, these are expensive.
Can I ask why you want insurance for any vehicle? I suggest you insure yourself on a small engined cheap vehicle otherwise you will pay through the nose.0 -

Okay, I feared as much.
So it's either buy my own car, or drive just one car.
Thank you for replying!
