a 'jobsworth'. who wastes police time and is hopefully 'jobless' now.0

A friend was walking her dog once and got told that her dog had done a poo at a certain location by some silly jobsworth. Her dog had done no such thing but the jobsworth issued her a fine anyway! I think these people see dog walkers as easy targets tbh.0

Stupid man. Bet he wouldn't have threatened to arrest a big tattooed shaven headed thug with a snarling pit bull on the end of the lead!
I had a similar incident with a cop sitting in a police car, who saw my dog squat in the grass and got out to tell me I had failed to clean up after my dog who had just fouled in the grass.
I pointed out the dog was a female and had squatted to wee, which I'd have found rather difficult to pick up.
He actually checked the dog's nether regions and went back to his sniggering colleague very red-faced!0 -
When I saw the title to this post I was hoping that, at last, someone really had been caught and prosecuted for not picking up. These people give all dog owners a bad name. I get so fed up of having to watch where I walk when I am out with ours. We pick up, why don't they? Why is it usually big piles from obviously big dogs too? If we had a few prosecutions locally it might make a difference.Downshifted

Uh oh, my dog is a boy, but still pees like a girl, inspection would have caused more issues!0 -

I witnessed an incident recently when somebody left their dogs poo on the pavement and it just so happened that a Community Police Officer was in the vicinity and saw what happened. She borrowed a poo bag from another dog walker and made him go back and pick it up (his excuse was that he didn't have any bags). Then she escorted him to the nearest dog poo bin and watched him put it in. When he was reluctant to comply she threatened him with a ticket.
It cheeses me off no end when people don't clear up after their dogs. The amount of dog crap left laying around locally is a joke. I'd love to rub their noses in it!
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
Got to say though...if you were seen going round picking up dog poo when I was a kid, you'd have been sent to the nearest mental institution!0
