paying costs of ppi reclaims

Options
unfortunately i have had a ppi agent reclaiming my ppi. They have successfully got me a payment but i haven't received it yet as the lender have sent it to my old address because the agent hadn't given them the new address.I have done all the ringing to the lender as im fed up of receiving 3 calls a week from the agent asking for their payment. The agent says they are waiting to hear from the lender as to whether it did go to the wrong address,i don't see how it can take 2 weeks to find out simple information.I have rung the lender myself and gone into the local branch to update my address for their records to find out it did go to the wrong address!!! do i have to pay the whole fee that the agent is requesting as i have done the ringing round and the work of going into the local branch not once but twice to verify my address as the agent was unable to do this for some reason.

You have to pay. Verifying your address is something only you can do and is not part of the "service" the claims company provide.

You'll no doubt be pleased to hear that you could have complained yourself and so paid nothing at all.
