Should my default dates be different?

Hi everyone
I unfortunately had to declare myself bankrupt several years ago, and I am now nearing the end of my 6 years. My understanding is that my defaults should disappear from my credit file after 6 years.
I have applied for a copy of my credit report from Experian and a number of the defaults that were included in my bankruptcy show the correct date (i.e. the date I was declared bankrupt) but others show later dates, some of these a year later.
Is it possible (and correct procedure) for me to write to these lenders and advise them that the date should be changed, or do I need to leave this as is?
Thanks for reading

They should all show as no later than the date of your bankruptcy order.
if they do then yes you can do a credit file clean up - i.e. write to them - see here - Credit Reference File Clean Up Post BankruptcyA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
