Getting a CCJ marked as satisfied

Options
Does getting a CCJ marked as satisfied result in any significant improvement in credit history?

The only black mark I have on my file is a single 2 year old CCJ. I've taken the attitude that as the damage has already been done, I'm not paying it unless i really have too!

But now I'm thinking of moving house I'm wondering if paying it off and getting it marked satisfied would improve my chances with rental agencies tennent vetting checks.

It will improve your file, although it still won't look very good.

Some lettings agents will probably accept people with a satisfied CCJ on file, others may not accept anyone with a CCJ in the last 6yeats (satisfied or not).

Then you'll have to live with the consequences.
